Susan Epps Oliver is British by birth but moved to live in the USA in July of 2007. She is now resident in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia.

Susan originally trained as a textile artist in the UK, specialising in contemporary embroidery and fabric manipulation. She was successful in that area for a number of years and that influence still shows itself in the digital art which she now exhibits. Many of her works demonstrate her great interest in colour and texture. Her main subjects are nature in all its forms, including many works based on Shenandoah scenery, floral works, and an obsession for many years – carousel horses.

Nearly all her works, unless other specified, are digital images worked from Susan’s own paintings and sketches or from photographs she has taken. Each one is individual and unique.
