Floral Refreshment - Tulips and Forget-me-notsby BlueMoonRose
Budding yellow tulips in a bed of blue forget-me-nots in the West Park, South Shields, Tyne and Wear, England, UK Featured in the BEAUTIFUL NORTH OF ENGLAND group on 29.2.12
Very pretty! Are you having spring already? I thought you were having a bad winter this year. ☺♥
Thank you, Jade. This is a shot from a couple of springs ago. Because of my latest health problems, I have not been able to get out and do any photography.
Oh how I wish I could look out of the window and see this sight Kathryn, beautiful capture of these gorgeous flowers. Susan
Thank you, Susan. It certainly is lovely to live opposite a park, but in this case a very busy road lies between the houses and the park and the resultant noise and pollution make the prospect less attractive.

Why do they do that, put parks where there is so much traffic and pollution….You really have to wonder huh!
I am not sure which was there first – the road or the park – but it is only in the last couple of decades that the traffic got to be so heavy.
