Some floral tributes featuring golden roses on the grave of a dear friend.
One of Steven’s favourite hymns was “O My Father”. Enjoy the superb singing of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in this extract from their Christmas CD!

Steven died in the prime of his life after a three year battle with cancer, leaving a grieving widow and four children, the youngest of whom was only three years old. Steven was exemplary in his dedication to his family and I dedicate this picture to all men who have shouldered the responsibility of child rearing.
American writer Kent Nerburn brilliantly put it: “It is much easier to become a father than to be one.”. Also the Germans have a saying:- “Vater werden ist gar nicht schwer. Vater zu sein aber sehr!” In English this translates as “It is easy enough to become a father, but actually being one is very challenging.” It does not rhyme in English, unfortunately. Any proceeds from the sale of this picture will be donated to cancer research. Steven lies buried in Harton Cemetery, South Shields, Tyne and Wear, England.
