Two yellow blotch pansies growing in our garden in the North-East of England on a summer’s day, when there was an abundance of rain. The ortientation of these two flowers makes them look as if they have had a quarrel!

Now, if we have fallen out with a friend or relative during the course of 2011, let us see if we can rebuild the broken bridge and start 2012 with a friend regained! When we view quarrels with hindsight, we usually realize that the cause of them was something of little or no importance. So the baggage overboard and your ship of life will cease to founder in troubled waters. Remember that “Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us” is part of The Lord’s Prayer and ultimately our unwillingness to forgive others will act as a barrier to us receiving a remission of our own sins, and if we fail to receive forgiveness for our sins….. I don’t think that I need to elaborate any further!
