My assistant, DJ’s cat, Rapstar, sitting on a rock in “her” garden and captured with my Canon PowerShot S3 IS camera. Rapstar was an abandoned kitten, left to fend for herself, and DJ found her caught in a hedge and starving. She had apparently been in that position for two days. He took her to the vet’s to have her checked over and he and his wife adopted her, as the owner could not be traced. She was treated like the Crown Jewels for the rest of her life! She may also have been mistreated, probably by a woman, as she always seemed at ease with men, but wary of women. She brought untold happiness into the lives of DJ and his wife. Sadly, she passed away a few weeks ago. We know that she has gone to a better and happier place.

    Excellent work!So cute kitty!anna

  • Thank you for your kind comment, Ana. She had a hard life as a kitten and a young cat and our son found her trapped in a hedge and starving. He rescued her and she has been looked after like the Crown Jewels ever since.

9/26/11 Congratulations! Your image has been featured by The Rescued Pets Group ~Terri

  • Thank you very much for this lovely feature, Terri. My assistant, DJ, and his wife will be thrilled that their beloved Rapstar has been featured. Sorry to be so very late in replying. This feature was given at a time when I was without a computer for a fortnight and had to have Windows reinstalled, so I must have missed it for that reason.
