The sands on Bosta Beach on the island of Great Bernera in the Outer Hebrides are pristine, though some might argue that Mother Nature has gone overboard with the seaweed. However, it is a useful dietary supplement and recent research has identified further uses for it. See link below:-

My life is divided between teaching Music and Photography. The instruments I play are organ, piano, clarinet and saxophone. I taught German and Spanish before my retirement, but since I got my digital camera no longer have time for them!

love to explore that region xx

  • Thank you, Lynn. This beach is quite accessible in the physical sense, but quite a long drive from Stornoway, where we are staying, as it is actually on another island, which is joined to the Isle of Lewis by a bridge.
