At first sight these trees in the jungle area of The Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall appear crazy, but this damage was caused during the Great Storm of 1986. Rather than cut them down, they were allowed to go on growing, so that now they form a sort of tunnel over one of the garden paths. Captured with my Canon PowerShot SX40 IS camera in Auto mode.
