Scanned from a photo taken using a film camera at our eldest daughter’s wedding in 1991, a picture of a plaque on the side of the console of the pipe organ in the Hyde Park Chapel in London. If anyone living in London or visiting London with a digital camera fancies taking a better shot of it (this one will not enlarge any further), they will find the church in Exhibition Road in South Kensington, opposite Imperial College and next door to the Victoria and Albert Museum. The Church is open during the daytime on weekdays, as well as on Sundays and there is an underground car park. The nearest Tube Station is South Kensington, and you should exit via the underpass not via the stairs. The church is right next to the exit, if you take the underpass, where you will find buskers, as it is rather long. There are turn-offs, but ignore them and continue all the way to the end. As the organist was a friend of my daughter, I got to play this magnificent instrument at the rehearsal, but not at the wedding itself! Happy shooting!
