Featured in THE WORLD AS WE SEE IT OR AS WE MISSED IT! on 2 March 2013, in MUSTARD SEEDS AND LILIES on 4 March 2013 and in LIVING CHRISTIANITY on the same day
A picture inspired by one of my favourite hymns, “All Creatures Of Our God And King”, the original text of which has been attributed to St. Francis of Assisi (1182-1226) and which was translated into English by William H. Draper (1855-1933). The hymn is believed to be based upon Psalm 148, Verse 13 of which is superimposed on the picture. Enjoy this rousing version sung by The Mormon Tabernacle Choir accompanied by The Orchestra At Temple Square.

The music was originally published in “Geistliche Kirchengesaenge” in Cologne, Germany in 1623. The modern arrangement is by the composer, Ralph Vaughan Williams (1872-1958).
Location: South Shields, Tyne and Wear, England, UK

My life is divided between teaching Music and Photography. The instruments I play are organ, piano, clarinet and saxophone. I taught German and Spanish before my retirement, but since I got my digital camera no longer have time for them!

Yes, Praise God! I want to write, AHHHHHHHH!!!! SO excited! Praising God, and giving Him The Glory is a humbling and profound priviledge simultaneously. GLORY! GLORY! HOLY! HOLY! Worshiping God gives me goosebumps, and I can feel my love for Him, well up into tears of joy. This is what Mustard Seeds is about giving God the Glory, because He is Worthy of it! So worthy! All Praise To The Lamb of God!

Thank-you for this mouthful of praise from the heart. Praise on the tongue is what our mouths are for, not cursing. Cursing and Praising from the same mouth ought not to be so. As we learn to praise God more and more, and let The Holy Spirit utter, then the cursing disappears to a more excellent form of speech.

BlueMoonRose, your work, “Above The Earth And Heaven” is featured in Mustard Seeds and Lilies. Continue to give God the glory always!

  • Matty, thank you very much indeed for this lovely feature. What a wonderful start to my week and what a beautiful banner Vivian has created in honour of our beloved Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
