Celebrate!

A rework of an older project; the original was inspired from two sources – the first was a creative challenge ‘inspired by music’ and the song in question was John Mellenkamp’s R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A.. The second was a newspaper photo of Venus Williams jumping in the air celebrating after winning some tournament (I have no idea which.) I think I reproduced her pose fairly well, minus the tennis racket in her right hand, of course. The original, since it was part of a forum challenge, was small to stay within the limits of that forum: 600×600px and therefore not big enough to upload anywhere else. This version has been re-created almost from scratch.

Lots of kinda-cliché Americana here; but I’m still happy with the way everything fit together. Hope you enjoy!
