This image was captured from inside of a dome, looking up towards the sky through circles.

Rachel Couper’s ‘Mirador’ is a 3.5m high dome and is internally lined with mirrors. The shifting reflections create heterotopian spaces – places to which the visitor cannot travel. This, combined with the seascape, questions the nature of looking and reflection, man and nature.

Captured at Sculpture By The Sea, Bondi, NSW, Australia.
Canon G13, as is.

I live in Australia and enjoy bushwalking in the great outdoors, especially the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park.

My photographic interests are pretty much related to Australian landscapes, rustic Australia, historic Australia, Australian wildlife, flora, fauna, birds, etc. Guess I love the country I was born and live in.
