A pathway deep in the rainforest leads to these curving sandstone steps, nestled between two giant ancient Antarctic beech trees. Large tree ferns grow alongside.
This image was captured on the Grand Canyon bushwalk in the heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park near Blackheath, NSW, Australia.
This is one of my favourite walks in the beautiful Blue Mountains…..
Canon G12, as is.

I live in Australia and enjoy bushwalking in the great outdoors, especially the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park.
My photographic interests are pretty much related to Australian landscapes, rustic Australia, historic Australia, Australian wildlife, flora, fauna, birds, etc. Guess I love the country I was born and live in.
