White Waratah by Michael John

White Waratah by

This image depicts the magnificent rare white waratah flower, known as ‘Wirrimbirra White’.

The New South Wales waratah (Telopea speciosissima) is a large shrub in the Proteaceae family. The waratah is endemic to New South Wales in Australia and is the floral emblem of that state.

Captured in spring at Robertson in the Southern Highlands of NSW, Australia.

Canon G12, as is.
