This view, taken of Fitzroy Falls from Jersey Lookout, shows the long drop of Yarrunga Creek into the Kangaroo Valley below.

It was captured on a windy day, and the water was being blown sideways, creating an interesting effect.

I live in Australia and enjoy bushwalking in the great outdoors, especially the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park.

My photographic interests are pretty much related to Australian landscapes, rustic Australia, historic Australia, Australian wildlife, flora, fauna, birds, etc. Guess I love the country I was born and live in.

Even before I read your notes, I thought it looks like the wind is blowing the water! Great capture of a wonderful scene!

I was standing in that very spot a few weeks ago. I’m pretty sure my images didn’t turn out as good as yours. It was just after leaving this spot when Ms 15 told me what I was doing wrong with the light and colour on my camera. lol. I’ll have to go back and try again one day.

Great shot, Michael… Love that windswept look! ;)

  • I remember you posted a photo from there. Thanks Donna!
