Light in the Canyon by Michael John

Currently unavailable for purchase

Here is beautiful Greaves Creek in the narrow rainforest gulley of Rodriguez Pass. Sunlight was streaming into the dark canyon and reflecting off the water’s surface, creating an interesting effect.

This image was captured at Greaves Creek on the Grand Canyon bushwalk in the heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park near Blackheath, NSW, Australia.

Canon 400D, as is; Tv 1/15, Av 2.8.

Another view along this walk

I live in Australia and enjoy bushwalking in the great outdoors, especially the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park.

My photographic interests are pretty much related to Australian landscapes, rustic Australia, historic Australia, Australian wildlife, flora, fauna, birds, etc. Guess I love the country I was born and live in.

I love how light draws us in. It seems to hold hidden treasures that it wills to share with us. The way you have captured this light, Michael, definitely does that. It’s a very inviting image.

And, of course, it’s a beautiful setting that embraces my soul with peace. Love it.

    Great image… :)
