The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a steel through arch bridge across Sydney Harbour. The bridge is locally nicknamed “The Coat Hanger” because of its arch-based design. The bridge was officially opened on 19 March 1932.
Due to its cultural and historical significance the Harbour Bridge is listed as an Australia National Heritage structure.
