I like the curve of these train tracks, winding their way through the Australian bush.
Captured at Farmborough Heights near Wollongong, NSW, Australia.
Pentax, as is.

I live in Australia and enjoy bushwalking in the great outdoors, especially the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park.
My photographic interests are pretty much related to Australian landscapes, rustic Australia, historic Australia, Australian wildlife, flora, fauna, birds, etc. Guess I love the country I was born and live in.

Great shot!! Love the composition. I also love the way the tracks snake through the bush like that, leading my thoughts to ‘what lays beyond…?!’ and leaves me crying out ‘I wanna go….!’ lol… Images like this so stir the travel bug in me…
I’ve not heard of Farmborough Heights before… but we’re heading down by Wollongong in a couple of weeks, so I’ll have to see if we can check it out. I’ll ask Tim. He can read maps… lol…
Great shot, Michael. I just love the way it calls to me, and draws me in.
Yes…what is around the corner??? It is a strange curve in the tracks, considering they could have just gone straight. Thanks for the fave Donna.
