This spectacular view was captured from near Baltzer Lookout, looking into the Grose Valley, Blue Mountains National Park.
The rock formation on the left is known as Hanging Rock. On the right are sheer sandstone cliffs leading up to the main lookout. A small grass tree (Xanthorrhoea) is growing in the foreground on the cliff edge.
The Grose Valley is a rugged valley in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales, Australia. It was formed by the Grose River, the headwaters of which are in the Mount Victoria area.
Captured in the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains Park near Blackheath.
Canon 400D, as is.

I live in Australia and enjoy bushwalking in the great outdoors, especially the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park.
My photographic interests are pretty much related to Australian landscapes, rustic Australia, historic Australia, Australian wildlife, flora, fauna, birds, etc. Guess I love the country I was born and live in.
