Artist's Description

Here is a statue of an Australian World War 1 Digger. He is complete with slouch hat, khakis, and rifle.

Every Australian suburb and town has a War Memorial, on which are inscribed the names of the local men who served in various wars. Each year on ANZAC day (April 25), services and are held and wreaths are laid at the memorials.

Dedicated to my gt-uncle and all those who have served.

Thirroul, NSW, Australia.

Canon 400D, as is.
