This image shows a large tree fern, looking up through the fronds.
The sun was shining through and formed interesting patterns and colour.
Cyathea australis, also known as the Rough Tree Fern, is a species of tree fern native to south-eastern Australia. The massive erect trunk grows up to 12m tall. Fronds are bi- or tripinnate and may reach 4-6m in length.
Captured in the Blue Mountains National Park, NSW, Australia.
Canon G12, as is.

I live in Australia and enjoy bushwalking in the great outdoors, especially the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park.
My photographic interests are pretty much related to Australian landscapes, rustic Australia, historic Australia, Australian wildlife, flora, fauna, birds, etc. Guess I love the country I was born and live in.
