Paddlesteamer Melbourne on the Murray by

The Paddle Steamer (PS) Melbourne was launched at Koondrook on the River Murray in 1912. She was originally built for the Victorian Government as a work boat.

The Paddlesteamer later fell into disrepair, but was restored by Captain Alby Pointon in 1965. She was then used to carry passengers at Mildura.

The P.S. Melbourne is Australia’s most famous Paddlesteamer.

Canon 400D, as is.

I live in Australia and enjoy bushwalking in the great outdoors, especially the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park.

My photographic interests are pretty much related to Australian landscapes, rustic Australia, historic Australia, Australian wildlife, flora, fauna, birds, etc. Guess I love the country I was born and live in.
