Hanging Rock is an outstanding feature near Baltzer Lookout, Blackheath.

A huge overhanging block of sandstone, over 100m high, has become detached from the main cliff and juts out over the Grose Valley in the World Heritage Listed, Blue Mountains National Park.

It is separated from the main cliff by an ever-widening gap of around 0.5m, which can be seen on the left of this photo.

Blackheath, NSW, Australia.

Canon 400D, as is.

I live in Australia and enjoy bushwalking in the great outdoors, especially the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park.

My photographic interests are pretty much related to Australian landscapes, rustic Australia, historic Australia, Australian wildlife, flora, fauna, birds, etc. Guess I love the country I was born and live in.
