This amazing display of native wildflowers were found in central Australia.

While driving along Stuart Highway between Coober Pedy and Alice Springs, I spotted this beautiful scene.

It was spring and the local multi-coloured wildflowers were in full bloom. These include yellow daisies and pea flowers.

The old, remaining dead trees form an interesting contrast with the carpet of life beneath.

Mamiya ZM film camera, as is.

I live in Australia and enjoy bushwalking in the great outdoors, especially the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park.

My photographic interests are pretty much related to Australian landscapes, rustic Australia, historic Australia, Australian wildlife, flora, fauna, birds, etc. Guess I love the country I was born and live in.
