This waterfall is located on Macquarie Rivulet above Rainbow Falls in Macquarie Pass National Park, NSW, Australia.
It is quite a trek to reach this location, set in a temperate rainforest.
First you walk along Clover Hill Road, a nice walk along a now closed and abandoned road. Then you must descend a very steep hill and, at the end, try to avoid falling off the edge as you near the water. Then of course there are the ticks and leeches (I attracted both).
In order to photograph this waterfall, you must also cross the river…..but it is all worth it in the end!
