Correa reflexa, commonly known as Common Correa or Native Fuchsia, is a shrub which is endemic to Australia.

This plant contains the green coloured flowers, others being red.

The photo was captured at Oatley Park, Sydney, Australia.

I live in Australia and enjoy bushwalking in the great outdoors, especially the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park.

My photographic interests are pretty much related to Australian landscapes, rustic Australia, historic Australia, Australian wildlife, flora, fauna, birds, etc. Guess I love the country I was born and live in.

    Hi Michael,
This is a beautiful shot of a beautiful plant. On my last trip to Tasmania a couple of weeks ago I bought two different varieties[pink and yellow, bright red]endemic to Tasmania, which I’m hoping will grow on my dedicated Tasmanian garden. The one in your picture must be from the mainland.
    Best Wishes,

  • Thanks Kay. Yes, I know that this one occurs around Sydney, but there are other varities. Good luck growing your ones!
