Artist's Description

The historic bridge at Ross was built by convicts between 1830-1836. My Great-Great etc. Uncle was there at the time and was probably one of the 50 convicts who helped build it.

The sandstone contains many interesting carved designs and symbols around the arches.

This is the third oldest bridge in Australia and is heritage-listed on the Register of the National Estate.

Ross, is an historic town situated on the Macquarie River in the Midlands of Tasmania, Australia.

Mamiya ZM (film camera), as is.
