Thought I would have a go at the How To Photograph Ink Drops In Water challenge. Huge thanks to parmi’s tute. The only thing I added was a layer of vegetable oil to delay the ink from entering the water (the image is inverted).

    JUS!! I SO like this one.. it could be an ink abstract of a flower – perfect black framing and comp… you’ve inspired me to go visit parmi’s tute :)

  • A flower is what I thought too, or one of those gelatinous flower thingies that you find on the seabed :), you should definitely have a look at parmi’s tute, it’s pretty much exactly what I did (he’s a clever lad isn’t he :) )
