This is soooo cool with the reflections Jus! It almost looks like you have flipped the image! Hang on…..have you?!

  • LOL That was quick Shell. No, no tricks (not this time anyway ;) ) thanks for the nice words :))

This has a lovely surreal feel to it Jus. When I saw the thumbnail I thought, ‘Oh, another ’poles in water’ shot, but the reflection of the cloud lifts this out of the ordinary.

  • Thanks Denis, I have to agree with your ‘poles’ comment lol, thanks again mate

This is soooo cool and confusing! A fence in the clouds?! Really well spotted and well shot. :-)

  • Yup it’s a little confusing N, the reflection doesn’t help, thanks again

stunning image mate, I lost my bearings looking at it…… very well framed.

  • Thanks Steve, yup it seems to be throwing people, the water was so unbelievably still which gives this optical illusion

Jus, this is awesome mate! Such a perfect mirror finish, it’s like the world has been inverted. Seems like high hey at the top of the image, but I’m guessing that’s the mastery of the shot itself? I really like the abstract element to it with the fence line. Its like a nature meets abstract hybrid. Great originality mate!

  • Thanks so much for such a great comment Andrew. It’s funny everyone keeps thinking I’ve flipped this but I haven’t, the water is just so unbelievalby still, only intertupted by the occasional landing bird lol. I did fiddle with the levels a little so that’s where the high key comes in I think but the rest is just what I saw, I took so many shots but I think I’ll limit my posting of ‘poles’ to a couple at most (see Denis’s comment lol). Thanks again for the great feedback mate
