Gaudi to become a Saint

Still in construction after 100 years, Sagrada Familia has now been deemed a basilica after a visit from Pope Benedict XVI. The church still has a way to go, but for anyone who has epxerienced this stunning building it was an absolute joy to switch on the telly and see it actually performing as it’s designer intended and not just a construction site, now I’m not Catholic but even I go…

Another Small Win

I recently found out that 2 of my images, Superman, and Lunar Clock, were finalists in the Subiaco Photographic Awards, and today I was notified that Lunar Clock received a Highly Commended Award. I was pretty surprised to be honest and more than a little happy :).

Help with Memory Cards

I’m thinking of getting a new CF memory card and was wondering what people recommend. I was given my DSLR and it came with an assortment of different brands so I’m not sure whether one brand is preferable or not, I have read that SanDisk and Lexar are used by the pro’s. Is it also better to get a high-speed card or not? And finally, is it good practice to format a card each time…
