Stomping Ground

These are my old Dr. Martins which i used to love gigging around in. This is yet another experiment trying to get some DOF with my new P+S, I would really appreciate any CC or technical tips if anyone has time..thanks in advance

Well, DOF worked really well here! And I like how this is almost a selective colouring shot… very cool composition. Its hard to get much DOF with a P&S. How did u do that? Macro setting?

Hi N, this was a selective job but only on the guitar and the yellow stitching, I had another just B+W version which i think maybe works better. My P+S has a manual focus and aperture control so that helps alot but like all P+S’s it’s pretty stubborn at times. Thanks for the feedback, as always much appreciated

A great but very difficult composition to shoot for DOF but you’ve done a brilliant job here with a P+S. Excellent creativity.
