I’m a nuts4mutts animal advocate into playing and partying at The Eastlake Doggie Park with Journey & Stewart my beloved canine companions. I’ve enjoyed being involved 25 yrs. in emergency street rescue on Lake Shore Blvd. in Euclid helping lost dogs find their owners.
I adore cooking gourmet goodies for 4 legged friends and planning canine events in the area. I’m the original party animal who loves life with the dogs!
Both of our dogs are rescues. Journey is a 6 year old lab mix and natural watch dog. Stewart is a 2 year old Samoyed border collie-lab mix who does therapy work at a local nursing home where my dad resides under hospice care.
I am currenting kept busy helping to take care of and checking on my 90 year old mom who lives by the dog park and seeing to my dad at the nursing home along with taking care of my 15 year old son and 11 year old daughter.
I’m also an avid karate mom who enjoys traveling the country when possible, with our 2 sparring champion kids who fight for a national karate team, Five Knuckle Bullet. Both kids have been accepted in the #1 show choir in Ohio, The Euclid City Children’s Honors Chorus where I am a 7 year veteran parental chaperone.
I’m an active 4 yr. Ohio Reads tutor in our local school district and vice pres. of the PTA.
I also enjoy serving as a Deacon of our church and am a past church school administrator. Kids and Dogs, what a great combo for a fun and fulfilling life!
Dispite the hard situation now with my parents, I keep the faith and try to have an optimistic attitude injected with a good dose of humor. The dog park and my photography help keep me in good spirits and supply a calming atmosphere for me during stressful times.
Our dogs have their own web site which links to over 2000 pictures of many subjects posted on Flickr that I enjoy shooting.
