Hi BluAlien, This is brilliant work. I know these insects hover like this but to capture this shot is absolutely wonderful. Don’t put it down too much to luck. Regards, Steve

This is a fantastic shot one I have never seen before with such a small creature. I have seen it done with swallows. You have got to tell us how you got it.

BluAlien in reply to Colin Ewington’s comment, 5 months ago
Well I shot it in direct sunlight at 200MM f/5.6 400ISO 1/2000 SS With my Nikon D40 and my Nikkor 55-200MM VR I shot alot of shots that day and this is only one of few that came out! Thank you for comments! :)

That’s incredible, how did you do it? Awesome shot
Colin Ewington in reply to BluAlien’s comment, 5 months ago
“Good on You” Its nice when somebody actually tells us how its done.
Once again great job and thanks for being so candid with how many shots you took. I have only just got into macro work and if I had been using film, I would have had to sell my house to pay for the many bad shots>
BluAlien in reply to Colin Ewington’s comment, 5 months ago
LOL If I would have been shooting film I would have never gotten ANY of my shots.. I’ve never actually shot a film SLR I would love to learn it one day though! :)
