    Well I shot it in direct sunlight at 200MM f/5.6 400ISO 1/2000 SS With my Nikon D40 and my Nikkor 55-200MM VR I shot alot of shots that day and this is only one of few that came out! Thank you for comments! :)

    Once again great job and thanks for being so candid with how many shots you took. I have only just got into macro work and if I had been using film, I would have had to sell my house to pay for the many bad shots>

    how the hell did you photograph that i love dragonflys but very hard to photograph they useually take off whenever i go near them amazing shot i love it and would like to ask your permission to try and reproduce this as a painting i think it would be great
