To Thy Inner Sanctum

doing this reminds me of how much i would rather a model than a me. I’m getting bored of looking at myself as i work…

You look like you are being consumed by a cold flame. Interesting work!

why not use stock images? There are heaps available, mostly free. (can let you know of a few if you’re interested?) Cheers …

  • I do use stock images, the smoke i got off a CD. I usually get my stock for my other works from DA.

It took me a few goes to comment on this one.. The mind of the artist. I like it, neither good nor evil, happy or sad. Thought proving piece. I love the mix of colour and the brilliant thought process around your head. That has to be the centre of your creativity and inspiration, outshining all the others around you.Great pose in this one too, total control and a little regal in this domain :)

  • he is just yearning to come out, to take over and set things straight, patience slowly turns to impatience as he cant watch anymore, he does not want to be the observer for much longer.
The bright, different smoke thing behind the head was not put there by accident, i did have the meaning you said in mind as i was creating it, was subtle, but its funny, if anyone were to think about it and analyse it right, it would have be you.
