Part One

Part One

Prelude to Part 2

The compact solitude
Increases worrying thoughts,
The abstract Interlude
Inarguably distraught.
The burning metal
No longer red,
Through turning mental
Plead, what instead.
A flashing bulb
Under the eye,
Falls splashing cold
Where I lie.
A hidden Glance
To conceal the pain,
A forbidden dance
To dissolve your bane.

Sorry, I haven’t been visiting lately but this is brilliant Daniel. Reminds me so much of Kenneth Anger’s avant garde films from the 1960s. Great choice as an avatar.

  • Daniel Angeles replied

Thats cool, i’ll have to look em up.
Ha, no problem, It is always good to hear from you John.

I had no idea your avatar would have anything to do with this one.. How unexpected. It’s really hard to think of the words that can express this one correctly. The light bulb is my key point in connecting with this work. Very unique and powerful symbol. Taking both shots into it, I like the use of texture in this one, and none in part 2. I took this to be the messy existence vs the clean finish. Great work mate, beyond proper explanation.

  • Daniel Angeles replied

that is really insightful, i really appreciate your words. The messy and Clean makes all the sense in the world, I’m so glad you shared that with me, I love when people give you the opportunity to see your works in a whole new meaning. thanks so much.
