2:14am, My Loneliness Is Homeliness.

Part of my 2:14am series (Final one I swear….. unless i make another good one)

Its hard to be alone when the voices are there to keep you company, they may be terrible and destructive but they are still there, it is sort of comforting.
Wish they would go, but not until a voice with a mouth can appear and take their place. It may be a while.
To let go those you’ve known for so long that you know none other, it becomes hard to judge a voice which is new and never blown across your ear.
So as new its discarded before its siren is released, it is not the sound known, the sounds of current are all that are and they do not go without a fight, keeping them is the only way to silence such a sound.
You cannot hear silence because they yell, so you let them yell to hear the silence. Do you ever hear Silence?

daniel, amazing piece…. truly…. the comp, the color, and your words….
    and yes, i do hear silence…. : )

  • Daniel Angeles replied

You’re incredibly quick. I was bored, I found a boring dud out of my shoot that misty night, so i transformed it completely, into this. came out quite well I’d say.
I felt i was running out of words to write, but these just slipped out without a second thought.

Cool, I like it, too! Wonderful simplicity and gorgeous colour. Err, did you just say … felt I was running out of words to write?? :-)))

  • Daniel Angeles replied

For something so simple its amazing how hard it was to create.
Ha, yeah i did, but i always feel like that and look what I’ve produced. Don’t you worry.
    Thanks so much Barbara.

Lovely. Is this the final one? Really? im sure we’ll all miss them

  • Daniel Angeles replied

I think so, but then again my last was my final one, and so was the one before that…. this started out as a dud shot and i revamped it into this that looks nothing like the original. but i doubt i can do that again, so this will probably be the last.
    And thanks so much.

Wow, this is so good mate. The tint adds a lot to shot. I love the negative space in this, it makes the figure look so small and helpless, trying to seek shelter under the one tree still standing. Possibly the only place where a little silence can be found?

  • Daniel Angeles replied

    Thanks Andrew,
You can never escape the noise of your thoughts,

The lonely tree has always fascinated me Daniel. They are so humanlike! The cyprus tree of all trees seems to be the loner of the tree world. I hope I’m not boring you about trees! :))

  • Daniel Angeles replied

I know ey, the lonely tree is quite a beautiful sight.
the two perfect ways to portray loneliness in an image are; the isolated person in the grand emptiness and the tree growing on its own away from all others… well in my opinion that is.

They say silence is the language of god. All form manafest from the formless, and enevatably return to the state of no form. Sound depends on silence to exist. I do a lot to tell the voice inside my head to shout the fuck up because it is not the voice of me , and that voice is only concerned with it’s own well being not mine, the voice of fear. Kill the ego, and burn the past! keep up the good work
