Great Picture Daniel. Reminds me of photojournalism from the 60’s and 70’s. Cheers JD
Daniel Angeles replied
That is such an awesome comment, I thought the same thing, I love the 60’s – 70’s style with everything, Music, art, people, places, clothes, style etc.
thanks

This is great work Daniel! I love the focus and dof in this – and you composition of the image really gives it a lot of mood… And Welcome to RB!!! Looks like you’ve jumped right in here and are doing great stuff! I kind of relate as though in years I come from a different ‘generation’ to you (o shit that sounds terrible!!!) I too only got a half-way decent camera for the first time round the middle of last year and am ‘teaching myself’... RB is a sensational place for learning from so many wonderful artists who work in any kind of style you can imagine… Go for it :)))
Daniel Angeles replied
Thanks a lot, yeah teaching yourself is the better way i believe, Its the only way to truly develop your own style, even though i’m not sure what that is yet.
I was addicted to redbubble instantly.
by the way you have some pretty amazing work, your macro works looks brilliant.

I love the retro feel this one has, hair and clothing really takes it back to the 70s, plus the tones of gray. Really has a ghost of the past feeling to it. Going to be great following your new adventures with photography mate!
Daniel Angeles replied
Glad you feel that way about this. Once i finished this one i felt it really had that 60s-70s feel to it and its great to hear when people spot it.
Thanks

I’m crazy about this portrait. The grayness in it is awesome. The image is just fantastic. I hear you about not being able to capture your self, though. FAV (Just caught it in Solo)
Daniel Angeles replied
Thanks so much… and thanks for the features in Solo by the way, I was so thrilled to see it.
