The Blue Lake – Jenolan Caves
Featured in Artists Universe
The lake was created in 1908 to act as a reservoir for the hydro electricity plant at Jenolan.
The blue colouring of the water is natural and is a side effect of the minerals the water picks up whilst passing through the caves system.
