The Kangaroo Paw is one of Australia’s much loved icons. Grown extensively right across the globe, these Australian native plants are unique with their unusual form and rich warm colours.
Twelve species of Kangaroo paws are found in the south west of Western Australia. Eleven of these are the Anigozanthos genus, these are the plants that we all know and recognise, but one of them is the genus Macropidia, the Black Kangaroo Paw.
