Persoonia gunnii – Also known as “Mountain Geebungs”. Persoonia is a genus of 98 species of shrubs
and small trees in the tribe Persoonioideae in the large and diverse plant family Proteaceae.
Found: South-west from Black Bluff Range to Lake St Clair, The Derwent River and The Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, Tasmania.

The Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park is a significant location of Tasmania’s endemic species – 40-55% of the park’s documented alpine flora is endemic. Furthermore, 68% of the higher rainforest species recorded in alpine areas in Tasmania are present in the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park.
