Sawn Rocks in the Mount Kaputar National Park are about 30 kms north-east of Narrabri on the Newell Highway, New South Wales, Australia.

Featured in #1 Artists of Redbubble, Rural NSW, Rock and Stones, Australia Versus the UK, but it’s not Cricket! and Explore Featured Photography

The mountains in Mount Kaputar National Park are the remains of active volcanoes in the area from 17-20 million years ago.

These remarkable rock patterns are created when molten lava cools slowly enabling individual crystals to form and take shape as the lava shrinks as it cools.

Sheeeeer Genius, Miss Blossom. Sheer genius!

Would Love to hear what kind of music would play out of this calliope!

But, then again, I have not seen you do anything that was not absolutely melodic, as of yet!
