Snow Gum – Nature’s Abstract – Possibly Sea Creatures??
Discovering abstracts in nature and finding the unusual
are one of my passions in photography. Imagination is a wonderful thing!

SOLD a Framed Print – (406mm x 305mm)

Featured and chosen for Nature’s Macro Canvas Avatar of the Week. Also Featured in: Abstracts from Nature, Textures and Materials and Just Fun

Snow Gum (Eucalyptus pauciflora)

A medium-sized, often crooked tree has a short trunk to 1m diameter. It is low-branching with a spreading open crown.

It sheds its bark in irregular patches in autumn, leaving a smooth white to yellow, olive-green or brown surface, occasionally with scribbly markings from insect lavae.

Flowers appear in spring and early summer. They are white or cream.
