IT PAID OFF HAVING AN EXTENDED WARRANTY!!
My Canon PowerShot A650IS camera has recently been in for repairs.
I’m so very glad that I purchased a 3 year Extended Warranty, which has certainly paid off!!
Canon had to replace the Optical Unit (a line appeared down the right hand side of all my photos). They also replaced the LCD screen (a problem with this model is that the anti-glare coating wears off).
Sad to say that most of my photos of the Hunter Valley Gardens are ruined!
For an extra AU$79 the Extended Warranty probably saved me well over a few hundred dollars!!
Something to think about when purchasing your next camera!

Thanks for the tip Marilyn..when and if I can ever purchase a new camera I’ll keep it in mind!! Our dog has just passed the $3000 mark at the vets for a broken leg!!! I could have gotten a great camera with that!! lol…We love him!!! But if he chases another car I dont know what I’ll do!!!*-)
