Wreck of the Carpentaria Light Ship
Built in Scotland in 1926, the Carpentaria Light ship drifted from its position 52 miles west off Cape York during the monsoon season in the early 1980’s and was stranded on the west coast near Vrilya Point.
Vrilya Point, Cape York Peninsula, Far North Queensland.
