The Carpentaria Light Ship was once a grand ship!
Today, is lies at Vrilya Point, rusting away!!
Cape York Peninsula, Far North Queensland, Australia.
Carpentaria Light Ship
Built in Scotland in 1926, the Carpentaria Light ship drifted from it’s position 52 miles west of Cape York during the monsoon season in the early 1980’s and stranded on the west coast near Vrilya Point.
100% of proceeds received from Redbubble in respect to sales of “Green Nets” will be donated to “thegreataustraliancancerbushwalk” for the Cancer Council.
