Came across this beauty on the way to the “Tip” of Cape York Peninsula, Far North Queensland.

Glorious!!! and so very different from our chinese lantern Physalis, used frequently in dry flower arrangements. Yours is equally as beautiful and a wonderful colour. hugs

oh I love these blossom, I have one in the yard and several growing from bits I have broken off a as I potter about [tiny as yet] .mine grows too tall because we have extensive bush gumtrees and they all fight for the light.also I have a yellow pasionfruit vine which climbs up it all the time and I have to keep telling it ..no! naughty ! get back on the fence

Thank you Pat! There was once a beautiful resort near the “Tip” of the Cape – Now just left to decay – Found it near there. Must have been a beautiful garden there once!!
