Die Picasso!

Why should you torment my intellect! WHY, I ask, should your paintings be of hidden feelings, of philosophical truths, of mind-boggling mysteries? Why could it not be of a picture? Yes, a picture… a picture of the serenity of nature, for instance. That would certainly be lovely!
Die Shakespeare! Yes, you too, with your heart pouring in every single line. DIE! Tell me what sick pleasure do you get out of making puzzles with words?
I hate all of you artists, your poems and your works of art. Devious manipulators, sneaking meaning in your paintings, why should I twist and turn your fictions to get your meaning? WHY?
I know… I KNOW! I understand. It’s clear. You don’t think I can do it. (Ha! ha!) You don’t think I can figure it out! You think you can challenge me! Well, I accept!

The greatest people are the strangest many times..the most complicated to understand..yet once you understand their thoughts you discover a pleasure..Shakespeare and Picasso..great..i love the way you described the mad man’s view.it makes me ask who is the mad man..-excellent philosophy here..well penned-Charma

  • bloorain replied

” The greatest people are the strangest many times” Indeed, they are “mad” geniuses. As far as who the mad man is, someone commented on the “first one” that there is a mad man/woman in all of us. Thank you for your kind words!

I really liked this foot stamping.
    :)
The point however is that it always takes two for tango … and a writer wants a reader, an artist – a peer.
    They need you desperately.
Their lives achievements are nothing but a toy in your hands, a victim to your whims … or to any momentary digestion discomfort.
So be kind to them, have mercy.

If we truly said what we mean to say, instead of masking them with metaphors, then what’s the good of living anymore? Are these the words of a madman gone mad or a madman who has seen the other side and has found out the truth, that there is NOTHING on the other side??? Is he mad or is he exposing the truth???? hhhhmmmm…........

  • bloorain replied

I think it’s a bit of both, but what do i know, how can I possibly untangle the thoughts of a madman:) thanks for sharing your thoughts !!

written with passion it seems, but belittling shakespears work is like a kitten head-butting a mountain; it won’t have much of an impact, even if it was only to make a philosophical point :] lol

  • bloorain replied 20 days ago

lol agree, but tell that to the madman, not me, as I do not necessarily share “his” opinion :)
