you love me more
that your feelings for me are
unfathomable
immeasurable
but how can that be
when i feel just the same?
you can’t love me more
if i love you just as much as you love me
and if your feelings are unfathomable and immeasurable
then so are mine
even to me
but then
does that not make our feelings fathomable and measurable
because at least one other person feels them too?

i’m not sure if this theory makes sense to you
but it does to me
and that’s why i never let you tell me
you love me more
i always say that we love each other the same immeasurable amount
because what is
unfathomable
and
immeasurable
to ourselves
is
fathomable
and
measurable to each other.
