My name is Julie Rawlings. My passions in life are animals, wild places, water, and almost any type of aircraft. I enjoy slogging through mud, stickers, bugs, and snow to capture a shot of something beautiful and elusive. Fortunately for me, my wonderful, digital Nikon camera does all the difficult technical stuff; I just have to be willing to wander.
My side-kick Petunia is the inspiration for the name Blind Wolf Spirit. Petunia is my white factor Aussie mix who was born blind and deaf. She is the most creative and happiest of our dogs. She has inspired me to follow my creative path and to never give up, no matter how hopeless an endeavor may seem. I hope you will enjoy experiencing wild Utah through my photographs.
