    The the scene was shot in my home “studio”; I used a piece of cardboard I had painted some impressionistic blobs on – apart from curves and a bit of vignette I added in PS, the image is as it was.

    The mantises didn’t attack each other – I was hoping for some threatening displays but they showed no interest.
