The taken-apart-beetle I used for the b/g comes from an old Russian book that was in my house since before I was born. I loved it as a kid.
And Cyclommatus comes from Irian Jaya.

Imagine what the little guy is thinking… what did this beetle do to become all chopped up and flattened? A fantastic photo. I love old books like those… full of so many amazing handdrawn pictures with tonnes of detail and info.
